Rocky Mountain Chipsters has been manufacturing it’s unique candy in Colorado since 1984.  Judy Burns created the first Chipster™ in 1984. She gave away the first flavor as gifts to friends and family. 

The uniqueness of the chocolate covered potato chips were such a hit, she was encouraged to market them publicly.
